Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is still upset about the Super Bowl loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he felt his team got “embarassed on national TV.”
The Chiefs, who were aiming to win back-to-back Super Bowls, fell short in their intent as the Buccaneers beat them in the Super Bowl 31-9.
“Man, you know what, man?” Hill recently told TMZ. “I’ve been grinding my tail off ever since that loss. . . . I feel like we was kind of embarassed on national TV during the biggest game, you know, in the last game of the year.”
Hill, a five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, is hoping he and his teammates will bounce back this coming season.
“We definitely don’t want to go down that route again,” Hill said. “We’ll be back.”
