Amari Cooper: I’m not surprised by Jon Gruden’s impulsive comments

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper said he never thought of Jon Gruden as racist or misogynistic “or anything like that.”

After emails Gruden sent to the league revealed racist, misogynistic and homophobic language, Gruden resigned as the Las Vegas Raiders’ head coach.

Cooper played six games for Gruden in 2018 before the Raiders traded him to the Cowboys.

“Just knowing personality types, just knowing Gruden, he’s able to make really quick decisions and sometimes it can be impulsive,” Cooper said. “Sometimes it can be good, sometimes it can be bad.”
