Browns’ Baker Mayfield speaks on his confidence level heading into 2021 season

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is heading into the 2021 season confident as he feels comfortable in the current system.

In his rookie season in the NFL, Mayfield had two different coaches.

In Mayfield’s second year in the NFL, the Browns were coached by Freddie Kitchens.

Last year, the Browns introduced Kevin Stefanski as their head coach.

Stefanski did a good job in his first year with the Browns and he will return to the Browns as the head coach in 2021.

“The same system gives me more confidence,” Mayfield said, via Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal. “The same guys around me also gives more confidence, just because I know how to push those guys now. Definitely going into [mandatory] minicamp [last month], I think all the coaches and the players saw that I was way more comfortable in the system.”
