Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor revealed that quarterback Joe Burrow was placed on a “voice rest” following a throat injury that required a precautionary hospital visit.
Following Sunday’s 25-22 overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers, Burrow was sent to hospital because of a throat injury.
Burrow was advised to speak as little as possible but he is expected to play on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
“Everything’s going good,” Taylor said. “We’re just limiting what he has to say and how he’s gotta use his voice through today.”
