Matthew Stafford on blowout loss to Cardinals: I wasn’t good enough

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford admitted he “was not good enough” against the Arizona Cardinals but he felt the Rams as a team weren’t up to the task in Week 4.

The Cardinals remained undefeated after Week 4 as they handed the Rams a 37-20 loss at SoFi Stadium.

Stafford, who played lights out in the first three weeks, completed 26-of-41 passes for 280 yards, two touchdowns and one interception as the Rams lost their first game of the season.

“This is a prove-it (sport), and you’ve got to go out there and do it every time,” Stafford said. “I wasn’t good enough at doing that today. I think as a team, we probably weren’t good enough as far as going out in every single play and executing it.”
