Packers GM Brian Gutekunst: We’ve been working tirelessly to resolve issues with Aaron Rodgers

Reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers has indicated to people close to him that he plans to return to the Green Bay Packers for the 2021 season, per Ian Rapoport.

On Monday, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst claimed the team “has been working tirelessly to resolve the issues” with Rodgers.

This summer, the Packers wanted to make Rodgers the highest-paid NFL player.

Unfortunately for the Packers, Rodgers rejected their offer.

After Rodgers rejected the offer, some speculated that Rodgers would rather retire than play for the Packers in 2021.
