Patrick Mahomes: Exciting to have our back against the wall

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes insists he is “excited” to have his back against the wall as he wants to see how will he and his teammates respond following two consecutive losses.

The Chiefs haven’t had an ideal start to the season as they have just one win and two losses.

After claiming a narrow win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, the Chiefs lost to the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers in their following two games.

This week, the Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.

“It’s exciting. Now you know you have to go,” Mahomes said. “We’ve put our back against the wall. So how are we going to respond? I think you’ll get the best out of everybody. You’ll get the best out of every person in this locker room because you know that it’s time to go now. Every game matters if you want to do what we want to do and I’m excited to see how these guys respond, myself included.”
