New Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb revealed he and Aaron Rodgers always kept believing they would again be teammates.
Cobb, who was selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft, signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2019.
Last season, Cobb spent with the Houston Texans.
This week, the Packers traded for Cobb, reuniting the 2014 Pro Bowl wide receiver with reigning NFL MVP Rodgers.
“We always hoped we’d have the opportunity to get back together,” Cobb said, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com.
Speaking of the trade, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said Rodgers wanted Cobb so they contacted the Texans and brough Cobb back to Green Bay.
