Richard Sherman: My worthy resume should stand out more than momentary lapse

Three-time First-Team All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman believes his resume speaks for itself and he deserves another chance in the NFL.

Sherman, who was charged with five misdemeanors including DUI and trespassing with a domestic violence element after a July incident involving his wife’s family, remains a free agent on the market.

Sherman, 33, spent the last three season with the San Francisco 49ers.

“I’ve got a decade worth of résumé that should stand more firmly than a momentary lapse in judgment. I’ve got a decade of character and tape to be judged off of. If you’re judging me off of a momentary lapse, I’m probably not the player for you either way,” Sherman said.
