Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt is beyond excited to have defensive end Melvin Ingram join the Steelers.
Ingram, who was drafted in the 2012 NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers, changed teams for the first time in his career this offseason when he signed with the Steelers.
Ingram made three consecutive Pro Bowls between 2017 and 2019.
“I am excited,” Watt said, per Behind the Steel Curtain. “I worked with him during the Pro Bowl and I used to watch Chargers games when Derek [Watt] was playing in San Diego and Los Angeles. He’s just a player that has a lot of burst off the line of scrimmage. He’s got a phenomenal spin move and just seeing him in person, he is a colorful guy and I am excited to work with him.”
