The Washington Football Team focused on improving their receiving corps this offseason and their star wide receiver Terry McLaurin is excited about their new additions.
McLaurin, who saw many double coverages last season, caught 87 passes last year and that resulted in 1,118 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
This offseason, Washington signed free agents Curtis Samuel and Adam Humphries and also drafted Dyami Brown in the third round.
Also, Washington hopes to have Kelvin Harmon back from last year’s torn ACL.
“I just think it’s going to open it up, for me personally, down the field, intermediate and short,” McLaurin said, via the team’s website. “But also, it’s gonna allow other guys to make some plays. . . . Most top receivers have another guy or another two guys outside of them and that helps everybody.”
