Houston Texans owner Cal McNair didn’t offer too much on the situation of Deshaun Watson but confirmed that the star quarterback could get traded before the NFL trade deadline.
When the season started, the Texans seeked a package of six players and draft picks for Watson but they have reportedly softened their stance in recent days.
The Miami Dolphins remain the frontrunner to land Watson if a trade happens.
“We’ll just wait and see,” McNair said, via Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk 790. “It’s a day-to-day thing. [G.M.] Nick [Caserio] is in charge of that. We’ll see how that works out.”
