Tim Tebow can’t see Trevor Lawrence failing to become the next big thing in the NFL as he insists the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback is a full package.
The Jaguars, who finished last season with a 2-14 record, used their No. 1 pick in this past NFL draft to select Lawrence out of Clemson.
Tebow was hoping to make the Jaguars’ 53-man roster for the season but he was cut after just one preseason game.
In his brief stint with the Jaguars, Tebow absolutely enjoyed sharing the field with Lawrence.
“Yes, I think Trevor will absolutely live up to the hype,” Tebow said during his appearance on ESPN’s First Take. “He’s got unbelievable talent, I think he’s got a great mindset, I think he’s a great young man. I think he’s going to have a great career.”
