Tua Tagovailoa suffers fractured ribs, ruled out for Dolphins’ Week 3 game against Raiders

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered fractured ribs and he has been ruled out for a Week 3 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Tagovailoa took a big hit during Dolphins’ second offensive drive of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills and he was carted off the field.

After the game, Dolphins head coach Brian Flores labeled Tagovailoa as “day to day.”

On Wednesday, the Dolphins received the results of additional tests that showed Tagovailoa suffered broken ribs.

With Tagovailoa out, Jacoby Brissett is expected to start for the Dolphins at quarterback against the Raiders.
