Vic Fangio rips Ravens’ pursuit of rushing record in final seconds of game: Bulls— but I expected it from them

Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio ripped the Baltimore Ravens’ pursuit of a rushing record on the last play of Baltimore’s 23-7 win at Empower Field at Mile High.

In an attempt to tie a decades-old record for consecutive 100-yard rushing games, the Ravens had Lamar Jackson rush the ball.

Jackson rushed for five yards and the Ravens tied the Pittsburgh Steelers for the NFL record of 43 consecutive 100-yard rushing games.

“I thought it was kind of bulls—. I expected it from them,” Fangio said. “Thirty-seven years of pro ball I’ve never seen anything like that … but it was to be expected, and we expected it.”
