Jeff Gladney indicted for assaulting girlfriend, could serve up to 10 years in prison

Former Minnesota Vikings cornerback Jeff Gladney was indicted by a Texas grand jury for felony assault of his former girlfriend.

According to the lawsuit that was acquired by the USA TODAY Sports, Gladney assaulted the female victim for more than two hours, slammed the victim’s head on the dashboard of his vehicle and later tried to bribe the victim to keep her quiet.

If convicted, Gladney could serve up to 10 years in prison.

Gladney, who was selected by the Vikings in the 2020 NFL draft, was released by the Vikings after the indictment.
