New York Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson blames thinking too much for his passing struggles as he insists he just needs to relax and “rip it” over the final 12 games.
Wilson, who was selected at No. 2 in this past NFL draft, leads the league with nine interceptions this season.
Wilson, who has thrown only four touchdown passes this season, insists he has never been thinking this much when throwing the ball and he wants to return to his old habits.
“I would just say I’m overthinking them,” Wilson said. “I would just say, to an extent, I’m aiming the throw rather than just throwing it, like I’ve always done my whole life.”
